Kumeu arts A member exhibition is on at the Kumeu Arts Centre until December 11. It runs Monday to Saturday from 10am to 3pm behind the Huapai library. Village market There will be two doses of bargains and gifts in Kaukapakapa preparing for the busy Christmas time. Kumeu parade Support community and business floats and entries at this year's Kumeu Rotary Christmas Parade. The event is on December 10 from 7pm with the road closing at 6.45pm. Before it kicks into action, there will be busking from the Singing Cowboy at Huapai Village from 4pm. Traditional wheelbarrow races start from Freeride 'n' Cycles at 6.30pm. Huapai- Kumeu Lions will be collecting for the New Zealand Foundation for the Blind to replace talking books with CD or DVD digital devices.
