Bargains to be had at new market Come along: Courtney Wood welcomes visitors to the Kumeu Country Market on Sunday at Kumeu Showgrounds. A new community mar- ket will offer plenty of festive gifts and bargains on Sunday. Nor-west residents are welcome to check out the Kumeu Country Market at the Kumeu Showgrounds from 10am to 3pm. Organised by Cour- tney Wood, there has been a good response from stall-holders which includes food, produce, art, jewellery, plants and much more. Courtney hopes her market will enjoy a good reputation like the ones in Coatesville and Matakana. Markets are trendy and people really enjoy going to them, she says. Entertainment will also enhance the atmos- phere. Come along and sup- port the new market. Don t miss it. There ll be great opportunities to purchase unique Christmas gifts, Cour- tney says. She aims to run the markets monthly on Sundays. The next mar- ket will be on January 23, 10am to 3pm. Call Courtney on 027- 688-0818 for information. Stall-holders are welcome.
