Spectacular views will be part of the milestone with the South Head farm stretching 2750 hectares. The historical significance of this property to our community is of immense value to all of us. We are extremely grateful and honoured for the privilege to ride on this fantastic property,'' deputy master Alison Fell- man says. The weekend will feature a ride out to Muriwai beach, pirate themed party on Saturday and a small ride on Sunday. The trek is during the club's hunting season where an artificial drag scent is laid for the hounds to follow, rather than chase live quarry. Around 1910 Helensville had it's own hunt club, now the Waitemata Hunt, and our hunt is fortunate to hunt on the few magnificent properties left in our district,'' Alison says.
